Mary gives birth to the Word of God, Jesus, our savior.
Every nation on earth shall adore Him and is saved by Him.
Rivers flow through deserts, making all things fertile with
grace.
Rivers flow with the power of the Spirit making all things new.
Yahweh says to us: Here is my servant whom I uphold, my chosen
one in whom my soul delights. I have endowed him with my spirit that he may
bring true justice to the nations (Is. 42:1)
Covered with the power of the Most High, Jesus was conceived in
Mary's womb and born on Christmas Night.
Redemption is nigh; our Savior is born and comes to us in the
Eucharist of every Catholic Mass and resides in the Blessed Sacrament in every
Catholic Church.
In Bethlehem, the Savior
was born and continues being reborn in our hearts each day through God’s gift
of mercy.
Seeing the star, the Magi made haste to worship the Savior of
the world; we, too, make haste to worship Him this night and every night when we thank the Lord for the day and ask forgiveness
for the ways we may have offended Him.
The hungry, Mary says in the Magnificat, God has filled with
good things; the rich sent empty away. We are those hungry filled with good
things each day and each night while we sleep!
My soul, and yours, with Mary, sings God’s praises this day and
every day because
According to the promise God made to our ancestors, He has come
to the help of Israel his servant, and
to us, mindful of his mercy.
Salvation has come to the world and to each one of us; the
sinfulness of the world has been destroyed in the birth, life, death and
resurrection of Jesus, our brother and Savior.
I hope you have put Christ
back into Christmas so that you truly will have had a MERRY CHRISTMAS. For without Christ, all we have is a MASs of
misery!
